Edontology is the sector of dentistry which has to do with the diagnosis, the pulp injured treatment and the cause of pulp injures of perio and perio root tissues. he main factors of the endodontic harms are:

α)The caries damages which appear into a spot into the root of the tooth ,

β)Due to trauma occlussion

γ)Due to medical reasons,

The biologic and the anatomic relationship between the pulp concavity and the periodontic tissues causes reactions that allow the exchange of toxic products between them . This pathogenetic reaction between the pulp and the period, leads to endoperiodontic injures. The right endodontic treatment cures the endodontic injure in case of a pulp injure. The danger of the endoperiodontic injuries is due to an infected period tooth. In this case, a simultaneous treatment of the period tooth and the pulp is necessary, in order to cure the microbial factor, even though the veins that came from the period tooth, have a worse prognosis compare to the veins that derive from the pulp.  The pulp is surrounded from bone and contains the vessels and the nerves of the tooth.  Pulp cut is the extraction of a part of the pulp.
During the endodontic treatment

α)The tooth pulp is extracted, (meaning the tissue in the tooth that gives it life and senses).

β)The root tube is sterizated.

γ) The stamp.

The right endodontic treatment, requires a hermetic obstruction of the root canal and is controlled by an x-ray , so the root fillingmust reach the root tooth - the part of the tooth, from which the vessels and the nerves move in. .

STAGES OF ENDODONTIC TREATMENT

• Opening the tooth by griding the crown of the tooth, until the doctor can see the total crown socket of the tooth.,
  
• Preparation and dilatation of root tubes with motorized microtools which are aid from the use of EDTA (special machine which makes easy the propulsion of the microtools in the root tube.να,
  
• Sterilization of the root tubes with mechanic preparation..
  
• εExtra sterilization of root tubes with the use of laser, its outer goes from the spot where is going to be filling.Laser eliminates completely possible microbes that have survived after the use           of disinfectants during the endodontic treatment.  This way doctors can block the tubes in a sole meeting, without worrying about the revival of an injury.
• Block the root or toot tubes with gutta-percha points. -
• Temporary obstruction of the tooth, until the final block in the next meeting.

PREVENTION

After the endodontic treatment a tooth can stay intact as long as it examined by the dentist.  In case the treated tooth presents any sign that can be seen by the dentist and the x-ray, then there are 3 possible treatments for the patient, as follow

α) Review of the endodontic therapy.

β) Apicectomy

γ)Tooth extraction

In general, the complications after an endodontic treatment are rare and are faced easily with great results.

PROSTHETIC REINSTATEMENT AFTER AN ENDODONTIC TREATMENT

After the final fill of the root tube it follows the tooth rebuilding and the prosthetic reinstatement, usually crown .
