What is the orthodontic treatment?

The field of orthodontics is concerned with treatment of malocclusions (improper bites), which may be the result of tooth irregularity, disproportionate jaw relationships or both. The orthodontic treatment can lead to both the better function of the mouth and to the improvement of the facial appearance.
